Firstly, the service was impeccable. Friendly and efficient. The food was very good, except my egg was a little over - it did not have a runny yolk - and the coffee a little weak. At £18.50 it was also quite steep, so definitely only an occasional treat. Also, please turn the lighting up a little!
Arrived on a Friday evening at 6pm as a table of 6 people and the place was already quite full/busy. We’d booked online for a downstairs table and the booking system worked well. Some of us ordered at the bar, whilst others ordered using the app. Service was quick for both food and drinks considering how busy it was. We’ve eaten here many times before and as always the food was very tasty. It’s not the cheapest of places for food/drink (I’m convinced portion sizes are smaller than they were?) but we keep going back so it can’t be too bad!
Always love the food and atmosphere at Cinco. Tried the revised Tapas menu today, wow, so good! We got 3 each and shared, the bayo buns are wonderful, especially the pork belly but mushroom pretty tasty as well, another winner was the Bombay fried cauliflower with curry mayo & chutney, gorgeous. Also tried the queso fundido, Mexican cheese fondue with chorizo, served with tortilla chips, fun indeed, really warm flavours. Tried a tequila solstice twist from the cocktail menu... Like pudding with alcohol, ten out of ten for the chef and bar staff.
We came for a mid week evening meal, we ordered various meals and we were all very pleased. Followed by 2 lovely warm brownies.
Food was delicious and staff were friendly. The music was a little loud but we could still hear one another okay and a lovely time had by all!
I love a good Lounge and we hadn’t been to this one before. It was rather hard to find parking in the area past 8pm, we had to circle the town centre a few times. Overall we did enjoy our food! My shake was very sweet and my chips were very salty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lots of speeding cars thinking they’re cool gave me a fright whilst eating however!
Went out with a friend in my birthday, had a festive meal called Boxing Day Pork I think... Was delicious.
